Figurative Painting

The human figure is the most powerful subject in art. The figure can simultaneously represent an individual and humanity as a whole, giving form to our thoughts, ideas and ideals.

Normally I only work in still life and landscape, but I believe it is important to stretch one’s talent and technique and by careful observation of the compositions of past masters, improve one’s ability to produce work that is pleasing on the eye.
