Hi, my name is Terry Harbinson, someone who has drenched himself in art since God knows when! The work I do reflects who I am – a love of our rich Northern and European heritage, inspiring my painting and illumination. The paintings that you can view in the gallery reflect my use of the atelier approach to painting. I try to create ‘mood’ in my landscape and still-life work, in fact I paint scenes that of which I would like to be part; this is the spur to my work. If you would like to purchase and works (originals or prints then go to the ‘Shop’. If you would like to commission a work then please visit my commisions page.
My Calligraphic work again reflects my great admiration and love of our Northumbrian heritage, Wearmouth-Jarrow and Lindisfarne. Much of my work in this area has been created for local churches but I am available and have completed private commissions.
Art is fundamentally about the beauty in all that surrounds us, I hope you enjoy my efforts.
