Still Life

I love producing still life paintings in a realistic way. The images I choose reflect my love of the rustic and baroque, like my landscapes they evoke mood: stillness and simplicity. The only scenes I paint are those I would like to be personally part of. Many reflect my personal love of music and literature and as I continue to explore I seem to go back in time rather than forward, maybe for me the world of today is a little to ‘swish’ and fast, hence my art harks back to a quieter age.
